We are off and running for the 2008 season with expectations high and who looks good on paper. This is why we play the games to see who has the luck and what manager makes the right moves!
This is our first year playing with a new manager who's only contribution is via Net-Play with no actual contact in person. I'm impressed so far with his ability to be available to knock out a series or two with anyone that's available. I believe everyone will get comfortable playing via Net-Play from the confines of their own home without having to travel to a remote location.
I wish everyone the best of luck and may the best team win.

Buffalo's Inaugural Season
Magglio Ordonez lives up to his first round talent, while Yunel Escobar dissapoints with a .190 average 13 games into the season. The Bisons have fought tooth and nail through several hardfought series already, and it looks to be a long season of careful management. The pitching rotation mostly held over from last year has posted a dreadful 5.51 ERA, luckily the bullpen has been able to stop the bleeding thus far this season
My team so far hasn't lived up to expectations with a 10-13 record out of the gate!! This is why it's a 162 game and this is why we play the games... Let's continue on to see where it could lead!!
We're at the 100 game mark...Still close races for the playoffs, despite Chris waving the white flag...The Chipmunks are having a decent year, in no small part due to the addition of a real closer in Soria..A good power year for the rodents also, but tolerable starters and better relief pitching are making for a competitive team for a change (finally!)
